In the wild days of the internet, two young people watched as millions were made by dot com, porn, and junk dealers. After dabbling in companies large and small, in fields far and wide, two young entrepenuers decided to take a chunk of this pie for themselves.
Blue Shift Apparel was founded in the fall of 2009 by
Kyle Kennedy and
Kelly Melchior.
Blue Shift Apparel was born to be the shining beacon in a world full of garbage t-shirt companies. It is a company not ruled by profit, but by quality service and products at a low price to keep customers coming back for more. Through the right connections, the company has grown exponentially since opening for business and plans on expanding further in the coming years.
Kyle Kennedy -
President
Kyle grew up in a series of small towns in Georgia. After a quarter century and a college degree, he decided he had had his fill of the Deep South and traded up to Southern California. After landing a nice job at a moderately sized t-shirt company, he decided he could take the skills learned and apply it to his own business. Through sweat, hard work, and more than a little help from Kelly Melchior, Blue Shift Apparel was born.
Kelly Melchior -
Vice President Kelly was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She spent much of her youth skipping school and generally being a professional bum. She moved to Southern California around the age of 20 and soon learned that the life of a bum was not a good career choice given the exorbitant cost of living she was now faced with. Kelly spent time working for a commune of hippies, some uptight collection agents, and finally spent a good amount of time working and learning at a t-shirt company. The most important thing she learned at that t-shirt company was how not to do business. After many years, Kelly decided it was time to spread her entrepreneurial wings and open a business of her own, only this time she'd make sure to do it right.
